From 5:30 pm, keep an eye out for Mickey, Minnie, and friends along the parade route, joined by the Snow Queens of Christmas in Killarney and their magical horses, creating an unforgettable holiday experience!

With plenty of festive atmosphere, music, and fun, Killarney on Ice promises an unforgettable winter experience for all ages. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a beginner, there’s no better way to make magical holiday memories in Killarney!

If there is one thing that you must do when in Killarney for Christmas it’s to see the magnificent switching on of the lights for the Tree of Light at St. Mary’s Cathedral. The 100ft Californian Redwood is a sight to behold as it is illuminated by 3000 bulbs that can be seen from all around Killarney. The event is marked with a short mass in the Cathedral before the main event of the lights being switched on! The tree brings thousands of visitors each and every year and for good reason. Don’t miss your chance to see this marvelous moment in person for yourself. The ceremony will take place on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.

This fantastic charity event sees hundreds of avid climbers ascend the Paps of Anú as the night becomes morning on this important day.
