Ladies View is an essential visit when staying in Killarney or touring the Ring of Kerry. Located about 20km outside Killarney the view from here is so amazing that Queen Victoria’s Ladies in waiting were so mesmerized by the view when they saw it that the name was born then and there. The famous view offers amazing sights of Killarney National Park, Killarney Town and the Lakes of Killarney.
There is a quaint little restaurant found at Ladies View with a rooftop terrace so you can sip your coffee or eat some food while admiring the view.
Up the road from Ladies View on the way to Kenmare is Derrycunnihy Church an abandoned church which is home to one of Killarney’s most (in)famous ghost stories. It is well worth heading to see the church if you’re already heading up to Ladies View.
